Lavender and Geranium Conditioner is naturally antiseptic and restorative, helping to balance the sebum (oil) production from the scalp. Lavender stimulates growth, whilst Geranium also aids in balancing sebum production and is recognised as a natural astringent. The subtle blend of their essential oils soothes both mind and mood as well restoring a feeling of well-being.

Faith in Nature Lavender and Geranium Conditioner Ingredients:

Geranium 

This woody, perennial herb is native to South Africa but now grows in many countries. The essential oil accumulates in small glands found in the foliage and flowers. It blends well with other fragrances and is used to assist physical and emotional balancing. 
 
Geranium has recognised astringent properties for hair and skin care. It gently balances and regulates the oil-producing sebum in the skin and scalp, which is invaluable in overcoming particularly oily or dry hair.  
  
Lavender 

Lavender is a traditional British herbaceous plant, well known for its colourful flowers and its delicious aroma. Using true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia or Old English Lavender), oil is extracted from the leaf & flower and used in hair, scalp and skin care products. 
 
It is considered to be desirable for problems such as common skin complaints and muscular aches, as it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and it acts as a restorative and a tonic for rejuvenation. It soothes the skin, helping to balance over secretions of sebum, which bacteria thrive on. It is excellent as a relaxing massage oil, on its own or mixed with other oils. 
 
Lavender's floral fragrance lifts the spirits, calms and soothes the emotions, which makes it ideally suited to balance life's stresses.
